Peace?

We live in a world and are surrounded by a society where attention from the international community is undependable, it is The Democratic of Congo which has/have carried the weight of that. The genocide in Congo has reached a level where can equate to the holocaust. Children used as soldiers, women sexually exploited- abused and the perpetrators gone unpunished, massive killing campaigns, millions displaced, left to die at the hand of epidemics, rebel fighters and starvation, and a political, economic and educational system that has all but completely collapsed. And still, no one notices.

are his cries not heard?

When we will wake up and truly realize we are all Human. That regardless of color, creed, sexual preference, and conditions we all strive to live one way or another... and those who choose not to live is because they go under the radar and are silenced. It's 2009, are we-- as humans, going to allow this to continue?

Innocent children and women... being treated like animals and possessions. I only wish as a collected group of human beings we could come together and make a difference. Our world is prosperous, if only we all could wake the fuck up and see how we are disastrously building and destroying nations... maybe then, change would come.
