Empowering

I am breathing easier now knowing there's no room for fault, only growth. We each experience betrayal or loss or abuse of some form. Forgiving the experience and those involved in part of spiritual maturity. It is over and done and cannot be changed. Letting it go frees us from bondage to the past. It is the act of releasing the past that frees us to live in the now. We cannot be happy and healthy and prosperous and free as long as we are in the past and we won't forgive. Those are the biggest issues we have, all of us, and it's our biggest spiritual lesson to forgive, to love ourselves, and to live in the now. This heals the heart.

Love is a matter of the heart, not the head. What you feel and what you think is entirely separate when it comes to Love.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.
- 1 Corinthians 13 4:10
