Sunflowers.

I woke up this morning feeling different than last... feeling as though I've been aimlessly living for all the wrong reasons. I woke up today determined to define myself by myself and not have a male define myself for me. Got it twisted baby. Or at least you had me blinded for a while, but those dark days are over and the sun is finally creeping through my window shades. I see now. "You Too, but Me First."

Aristotle says, "Anybody can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy." Wipe that chip off your shoulder, I'm not the one you need to be angry with.

Instead of waiting around for you to come along, I got Sunflowers instead and remembered just how beautiful I truly am... and always have been. (inside&out)
