I am as a freeBird
Flying amongst the winds
Seeing all that is you
And you seeing none that is me
You speak with a tongue, that is nothing wet or sweet
Bitter and cold, you try so rigidly to digest me
Soon discovering your system is far too fragile
And I am everything but delicate, take me lightly- not
Feeling the heartburn
I make your heart burn, stomach turn and knees weak
You've fallen past grace
Into an empty abyss, crying out for me
Secretly you need me, but will not speak so
You remain silent, cutting your eyes
Thinking you've wounded me
But I am as a freeBird
Flying amongst the winds
Seeing all that is you
And you seeing none that is me
And it's killing you to know that I have you at such a disposition
Love and Hate, Hate and Love
You think it's all the same
Learning, You have much to do
Read up, Re-up and get back to me
You're caged
Mind closed
Eyes set on a level on you haven't reached
For I am as a freeBird
Flying.

P.S. he said "you are my wis- as in wisdom, the better half of me."
